Nafih Mohammed Naser while launching a pilot initiative to eradicate child labour said that non-profits and civil society members should force the political parties to make child labour and migration election issues.
“The team plans to train one teacher in every locality through whom we will ensure that each child is in school and there are no dropouts. We will hold awareness campaigns and mobile rallies to spread the word against child labour.” said Nafih Mohammed Naser.
“However, the seriousness of our efforts will be multiplied if the issue of child labour and migration become election issues. It will help us to bargain for better policies once any of these political parties form the government”, he added.
